From May 29 to July 5 an excting cycle of events will be lighting up Roman summer nights: it’s the Roma Fringe Festival. Every day from 9 am to 2 am of non-stop shows, art exhbits, day & night markets, refreshment areas, wine & food tasting, workshops and kids activities will take place in the gardens of Castel Sant’Angelo. This independent theatre & performative arts festival is featured by a number of Italian and foreign artists, providing performances wich range from song theatre, comedy, drama and social theatre to dance, stand up, street art, clowning, puppet, poetry and literature.
There is no admission fee to pay to eneter the festival area, but a €5 ticket (to be paid directly to the performing company) is requested to attend any shows.
The daily schedule follows will be the following:
- from 9am to 4.30pm: market, summer camp for children by Arteficine, free events and gastronomy
- from 6pm to 8.30pm: aperitif, concerts, food tasting and market.
- from 8.30pm onwards nine shows of any sort descrive above.
